Overview
Down in the caverns beneath the Temple, where the training grounds give way to sandier, hotter tunnels, the Desert Scorpions make their nests. They are a step up from the minotaurs and juvenile dragons a newcomer first faces — quicker, and armed with a venomous sting that keeps hurting after the claws let go. For a starting hero they're the lesson in poison: the first foe that teaches you to carry antidotes and watch your health bar after the hit lands, not just during it. Blessed by the Lady of Angel's nearby shrine, the tunnels below the Temple remain the realm's forgiving proving ground, and the scorpions are one more rung on that early ladder — enough of a threat to sharpen a beginner, not enough to end them.
