Alice is the blessing NPC. Buying blessings reduces the experience and equipment penalties you suffer on death, so it is standard practice to keep all five active. Blessings require a premium account.

The price is a 2,000 gp base plus a level-scaling fee (roughly 200 gp per level, applied between level 30 and 120), so the higher your level the more each blessing costs.
