Overview
Deeper in the caverns beneath the Temple, past the bellowing minotaurs, the young dragons nest. The Dragon Juveniles are hatchlings — barely bigger than a warhorse and still learning to spit fire — but to a fresh adventurer they are the first real taste of a dragon's menace. Their flames sting rather than kill, and their scaled hides give just enough of a fight to teach a newcomer how to dodge, kite, and manage a burning floor without paying for the lesson in blood. For many heroes, felling their first Dragon Juvenile is a rite of passage: the moment training turns into adventuring. The scales, leather, and the occasional real treasure they drop are enough to outfit a starter for the road ahead, and the safety of the nearby Temple shrine means a mistake here costs pride, not progress.
