They are lesser nobles of the pit — proud, cruel, and hungry — that slipped through when the corruption first tore the realm open, and were driven underground when the city was retaken. There they wait, drumming their claws in the dark, cackling "I'm a LORD!" at any who dare descend.

			For the city above they are a constant reminder that the war was never truly won — the evil was cast down, not destroyed, and it festers directly beneath the streets. For adventurers, the vaults under Raptor City are a proving ground of a darker kind: fire, mana-drain, and life-stealing magic guard some of the finest gear a hero can claim without leaving the capital. Clearing the Demon Lords is how many warriors earn their reputation before venturing to the wider, wilder lands.
